2025 – Week 13
To the Ladies
This track began with the raw, rhythmic textures of the DrumBrute, processed through a pair of effect pedals to add variation to the beat. I then layered in a few takes from the Grandmother synth, also shaped through pedals to create grit and movement. To give it an extra twist, I wove in a sampled voice from an old radio commercial—a fragment from the past that adds character and contrast.
